spinning coaster and a park full with 90% of activities, attractions and rides

NEW FOR 2008: SEA LIFE CENTRE
 Chessington
goes under water with brand new SEA LIFE centre! A brand new aquatic attraction
is opening at Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo at the start of the 2008
season: a Sea Life Centre with over 20 marine life displays housing species
ranging from tiny shrimps and starfish to magnificent sharks and stingrays.
The 250,000 litre
aquarium, which will be located within Chessington Zoo - will bring kids of all
ages almost nose to nose with a wide range of sea creatures, creating the
illusion that the visitor is on display while the fish swim freely around.
Interactive touchpools, fun exhibitions and a walkthrough ocean tank will offer
a final wow-experience as the fish swim overhead.
LAND OF THE DRAGONS
 Enter
the Dragon’s lair and enjoy an adventure of wonder, excitement and entertainment
in Land of the Dragons - strictly for young families. Tiny tots can
enjoy all of the slippy, slidey, spinny, bouncy things that playful young
dragons love to do in the Dragon’s Playhouse, an indoor paradise of soft play
activities and games! For a mega adventure of rope ladders, wooden bridges
and hidden escape routes head to Canopy Capers and find the dragons’ amazing
secret tree-top lair!
Puppet show
shenanigans are expected at the Dragon’s Tale Theatre where Spike and Cinders
will enthral Guests with an action packed tale of the fun and games, fantasy,
magic and mayhem of a little dragon’s life!
Sea Dragons and
Griffin’s Galleon are two rocking and rolling family boat rides add to the fun,

HOCUS POCUS HALL
Fantastical chills
and thrills, spooky scares and surprises and plenty of happenings of the haunted
kind are to be expected at Hocus Pocus Hall, a fantasy family 4-D walk
through experience. Home to a wacky wizard, it’s a gothic mansion packed
to the rafters with mischievous goblins up to no good and ghostly goings on at
every turn.
MISCHEIVOUS FUN & GAMES AND TOYTOWN
CAPERS
From quick fire
challenges in Tomb Blaster to the mad-cap mayhem in Beanoland where Dennis the
Menace, Gnasher and the gang are up to cheeky adventures and mischievous fun.
Toytown, where the littlest adventurers can be put in the driving seat on
Toadies Crazy Cars and bounce away on the Berry Bouncers, rule the road on the
Tiny Truckers, pilot a pink elephant on Flying Jumbo’s and and experience birds
eye views of the animal lands on the Safari Skyway.
ANIMAL LAND
Animal Land is a
jungle adventure not to be missed with themed animal enclosures, huge viewing
windows and some of the world’s most spectacular species. Take a trip on
Trail of the
Kings and meet one
of Europe’s most successful gorilla families. Come eye to eye with rare
big cats and walk and talk with the birds and even feed them. Creepy
crawly creatures are on hand in the Creepy Caves plus Boris and the rest of his
Sealions chums entertain all the family at feeding time!
THE FANG-TASTIC VAMPIRE
With a height limit of just
1.1m – the average 4 year old – the fang-tastic family coaster Vampire is a
great way for little vampires to cut their first coaster teeth. Riders are
suspended, their legs dangling “screamingly” free, and swinging at the same
time, it’s a world first! Swooping over the tree tops and soaring through
the sky, it’s an exhilarating ride for all those mini thrill seekers!
SUPPORTING THE NSPCC
Chessington World of
Adventures actively supports the work of the NSPCC (National Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and will be initiating a number of
initiatives to raise funds for the organisation’s invaluable work throughout
2008. The NSPCC is the UK’s leading charity specialising in child
protection and the prevention of cruelty to children and one of the largest
child protection organisations in the world.
